Market Logistics & Deadlines

  • This market has an 80 vendor cap (food & beverage + creatives) and we will close applications when either that cap is met OR by the 3/1 deadline - whichever comes first. 

  • This is an outdoor market. You are permitted 10 x 10 tented space which MUST have weights that equal 40lbs. If you do not have weights for your tent, you will NOT be able to set up because this is a safety concern for our event. 

  • All spots will be assigned. The final map will be shared on social media and via email the Friday following the final date to register + pay your vendor fee. Food & Beverage Vendors will be in the middle of the market, Community Area will be on the gravel path across from the Information Booth, Wellness Section will be the North End of the Market, and all other vendors will be along Knox St Mall and marked side paths. 

  • This market's Rain Date is Sunday, May 3rd. If you cannot make the rain date or the rain date gets rained on, vendor fees will not be refunded but can be transferred to a 2026 A Big Gay Market in Albany either in July or October NOT December and NOT regional pop ups.

  • We offer a sliding scale vendor fee from $45 to $105 max to pay our organizer, offset costs of advertising, musician stipends, audio equipment fees, vendor snacks and drinks, event insurance, and more.

  • This market has a Wellness Section that is curated and managed by Cheyenne Clarke of Womb2Womb Adornments. You can indicate if you want to be part of that section within this form. Cheyenne will be your point of contact the day-of and Cyren will collect vendor fees and send over the market logistics emails. 

  • This market has a Community Area which is a separate form. You will be guided to that form if you meet the criteria of a Community Area Vendor. 

  • If you received a Promo Code from the rained out 2025 A Big Gay Market, you can use it for this market. This can be used at check out under "Have A Promo Code?" and it will waive the fee for you. If you need a new code, please email Cyren at c@abiggaymarket.com.

  • All donations are opt-in. We do not reject vendors who cannot donate. You can either give a cash donation to Cyren after the market or you can utilize the direct link to give a donation that is sent to you after the market via email.

  • You MUST pay your vendor fee by LATEST 3/1. If you register, but do not pay your vendor fee by then - we will give your spot to a vendor on the waitlist. If you need an extension, PLEASE communicate with Cyren via email at c@abiggaymarket.com.

Quick Note For Vendors

  • In 2026, our vendor fees will increase by $10, with sales tax and credit card processing fees being absorbed by A Big Gay Market.  We will have a sliding scale vendor fee of $45 - $105 for our four larger markets in April, July, October, and December at Washington Park or Washington Park Lake House in Albany. For our regional + curated pop-up markets, the sliding scale vendor fee will also be $45 - $105.

  • This will be the last increase in vendor fees for the foreseeable future. This development resulted from a comprehensive cost analysis conducted throughout the year. This was a two-fold cost analysis, which included the following findings:

    • Honest conversations with our vetted venues and their rental costs are increasing.

    • An overall decrease in corporate sponsorship availability across the board for for-profit markets, even with a community focus.

    • A realization that as we grow, so will the cost of our offerings, such as;

      • Paying additional market organizers, such as our Wellness Section Curator.

      • Paying musicians for live music and sound equipment rental.

      • Higher event insurance due to larger crowds.

      • Implementation of new paid advertising methods to drive up attendance.

  • We understand the reality that everything is becoming more expensive - if the price increase impedes your ability to be a vendor at our market, we have saved a small fund to cover a select number of vendors at a lower sliding scale of $15 - $35 for each larger market. Please email Cyren at c@abiggaymarket.com. Once the vendor application closes, Cyren will reach out to secure your spot utilizing the lower sliding scale vendor fee.
